K-4 Classroom Teachers* - Classroom teachers work on co-teaching teams with six teachers serving three classrooms of students in each grade level. K-1 classes are self-contained with two teachers in each class. In grades 2 and above, there is an opportunity to departmentalize or specialize in math, project-based literacy instruction, literacy intervention, or special education. Classroom Teacher candidates must demonstrate proficiency in English and Spanish. An EL certification is preferred but not required.
-
Paraprofessionals- Paraprofessionals work with individuals and small groups to provide all students with personalized support. The paraprofessional role can be a great opportunity to explore a career in education for career changers or those who have not yet finished a college degree.
-
SPED teacher- Aventura's student support team is growing! Aventura's special education teachers will work with students who have individualized support needs. They will use an inclusive approach to education that builds on each student's strengths, values, and preferences.
